1. Overview

Hjälp offers a 7-day free trial of our Basic plan for new users who wish to explore advanced features. A valid credit card is required to start the trial. Alternatively, we offer a free Forever plan with core features that requires no credit card at all. This page covers our trial and refund policies.

2. 7-Day Free Trial for Basic Plan

New users can start a 7-day free trial of our Basic plan. A valid credit card is required to begin the trial. During this period, you have full access to all Basic plan features without any charges. After the 7-day trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid Basic plan at the regular rate, and your credit card will be charged.

Important: The free trial is exclusively for new customers who wish to test the Basic plan. If you prefer not to provide a credit card, you can use our Forever Free plan instead.

3. Downgrading During Trial

If you decide the Basic plan is not right for you during the 7-day trial, you can downgrade to our Free plan at any time:

  1. Log in to your Hjälp account
  2. Navigate to Account Settings
  3. Select "Downgrade to Free Plan"
  4. Your subscription will be downgraded immediately, and you will not be charged

4. Automatic Billing After Trial

At the end of your 7-day trial, your Basic plan will automatically convert to a paid subscription, and your credit card will be charged according to your billing cycle (monthly or annual). You will receive email reminders before the trial ends so you can downgrade to the Free plan or cancel if you prefer not to continue. No charges will be made if you downgrade to the Free plan before the trial ends.

5. Free Plan Alternative

If you do not want to provide a credit card or test a trial, our Forever Free plan is available with no credit card required. The Free plan includes core features like the Livechat Widget, basic Ticket System, and Email Integration. You can upgrade to a paid plan at any time.

6. No Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds on paid subscriptions. Since all users can test the Basic plan with a 7-day free trial, or use the Free plan indefinitely without a credit card, you have ample opportunity to evaluate Hjälp before committing to a paid plan. Once you are charged for a paid subscription, you are responsible for the full billing period. We encourage you to thoroughly test all features during your free trial to ensure Hjälp meets your needs.

7. Subscription Management

After the trial period, you can manage your subscription at any time:

  • Upgrade to a higher tier plan
  • Downgrade to a lower tier plan
  • Cancel your subscription (effective at the end of the current billing cycle)

8. Billing Transparency

We maintain transparent billing practices. You will see all charges clearly itemized in your invoices. No hidden fees will be charged to your account, and all pricing is displayed upfront before you commit to any subscription.

9. Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your paid subscription at any time. Your access will continue through the end of your current billing period. After cancellation, you will not be charged for the next billing cycle. Any data associated with your account may be retained according to our Privacy Policy.

10. Policy Changes

We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you via email and will be effective from the date specified in the notification.
